1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SortMyInterview ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the SortMyInterview website, desktop application, browser extension, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately at support@sortmyinterview.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

4. Subscription Plans & Pricing

SortMyInterview offers the following plans:

• Starter (Free) — Limited access to core features at no cost. Feature availability and usage limits are subject to change.
• Pro ($29/month) — Full access to real-time interview assistance, coding support, and stealth mode across all major platforms.
• Elite ($79/month) — Everything in Pro plus priority support, advanced analytics, unlimited sessions, and early access to new features.

All prices are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect on their active subscription.

5. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the billing cycle you select at the time of purchase. Payment is processed at the beginning of each billing cycle through our third-party payment processor. You authorise us to charge the payment method on file for all applicable fees.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the outstanding balance is settled. We do not store your full payment card details; all payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant third-party providers.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Services, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial payment by contacting support@sortmyinterview.com.

This guarantee applies to a single refund per user. If you receive a refund and subsequently purchase a new subscription or additional services, those subsequent purchases are not eligible for a refund under this guarantee. Refunds for annual plans will be prorated based on the unused portion of the subscription period beyond the first 30 days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an undue burden on the Services, servers, or networks connected to the Services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services, other accounts, or computer systems or networks.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Services.
• Use the Services in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Services.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Services or any output generated by the Services without our prior written consent.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Services except through our published APIs.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating your account, if we believe you have violated these provisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, AI models, and the underlying technology — are the exclusive property of SortMyInterview or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you input into the Services. By using the Services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your input solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. We do not claim ownership over your inputs or the AI-generated outputs you receive.

9. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy. We process audio and text data only to deliver real-time assistance and do not sell your personal data to third parties.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. AI- generated responses may contain inaccuracies. You acknowledge that you use the Services at your own risk and are solely responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on the output of the Services.

SortMyInterview does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to job offers, interview success, or career advancement, as a result of using the Services.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SORTMYINTERVIEW, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000 (Indian Rupees Five Thousand), whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SortMyInterview and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@sortmyinterview.com or through the account settings in the application. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access poses a risk to the Services or other users. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations to pay outstanding fees.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@sortmyinterview.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published by us on the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and SortMyInterview regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
